MY TOP 10 CRAZY DRUM STICK IDEAS

Today I am going to share with you my top 10 crazy drum stick ideas. And as we all know drum sticks are sticks specially made for drumming and without it there is no beat, no sound, no music, nothing. We are literally screwed without the drum sticks.

So today I thought about tweaking the purpose of the drum stick a little bit and giving it a new one. Something simple, creative, related and non-related to the drums.

This ideas might be good or bad but Hey! Who cares? This is just me trying to bring out the potentials hidden inside the drum stick. Lol.


So here are my top 10 bad ass drum stick ideas.


1) A drum stick wall hanger: What if I needed a wall hanger in my room? All I need do is gather all the drum sticks I can find, nail them together forming a rectangular shape or any shape I want and nail them to the wall.

 Damn!!!! This is a bad ass idea. Lol


2) A drum stick screw: Just like the screw driver I should be able to use a specially made drum stick screw to screw anything drum related.  Can this work? Yes. All I need to do is change the drum stick head from wood to iron and back to wood (when I need to play I switch to wood head. Iron head ain’t good for the snare)

Another bad ass idea. Lol


3) A drum stick key/door lock: This is simple. Just make a door with a well-shaped drum stick lock and a key made in the fine image of a drum stick (iron made. Wood isn’t going to do us any good). Also note a Vic firth drum stick door lock should come with a Vic firth drum stick key. Using a Promark drum stick key won’t work on a Vic firth drum stick door lock. Take note.

Lol this is a good idea. I can feel it.


4) A drum stick arrow and bow: I pretty sure someone already came up with the idea or maybe not. But this is quite easy. Making a drum stick arrow and bow shouldn’t be a big deal.

Another good idea.


5) A drum stick electrical switch: Simple. Every switch in the house should have the shape of a drum stick. The TV switch, the gas switch, the light switch. As long as you can use your hands to turn them on, then it should have the shape of a drum stick.


6) A drum stick smoker: I’m sorry I couldn’t come up with a better name for it. Apologies. I know there are drummers who smoke weed, marijuana or anything smoke able. Having to smoke weed shaped in form of a drum stick isn’t a bad idea.

Lol this is a badly shaped bad ass idea.


7) A drum stick drummer’s detector (made with tech): This is a detector specially made to detect a drummer’s skill and creativity on the drum kit. Every manager/artiste should have one and if as a manager/artiste I use the detector on you and get a result below 50%, then I’m sorry you can’t be in my band.


8) A drum stick puzzle bag case (made with tech): I still don’t know the inspiration behind this idea coz I really can’t explain how it’s going to work. Still figuring it out though.

This is a bad ass idea with a lot of tech. Lol.


9) A drum stick hand massager (made with tech. it’s obvious. A wood or iron won’t massage your hands): 30 minutes into the Gig you starting to feel pain around your hands. Taking a short break to massage your hands with a drum stick massager isn’t a bad idea.


10) A drum stick adventure game: Apart from being a drummer, I’m also a gamer. As a drummer/gamer I should be able to use my drum stick to go on an adventure to the drum island. An island full of drums, drums and more drums. An island where I am able to destroy and magically make my own drum kit with just the use of a drum stick. An island……………………..

OK I think I’ve lost it. Lol. I need to a break from brain storming ideas.
