Drummers And The 80/20 Principle

I am sure we all are familiar with the 80/20 Principle and the idea behind this Principle i.e achieving more by doing less. But for those who are not familiar with the 80/20 Principle, here is a brief history. The 80/20 Principle was discovered in 1897, by Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto (1848-1923) and according to Richard Koch Author of the 80/20 Principle (The secret to achieving more with less) he states that: The 80/20 assert that a minority of causes, inputs or effort usually lead to a majority of the results, outputs or rewards. Taken literally, this means that, for example, 80 percent of what you achieve in your job comes from 20 percent of the time spent. This also means that 80 percent of outputs result 20 percent of inputs; that 80 percent of consequences 20 percent of causes; or that 80 percent of results come from 20 percent of effort.
